Correction — £198,000 typo

A campaign leaflet and comparison document in Shepherd’s Bush Green ward that was distributed 28th April 2026 stated that Hammersmith & Fulham Council spent £198,000 correcting a typo on residents’ statements. This was incorrect. The £198,000 figure refers to Bristol City Council, not Hammersmith & Fulham, and was reported in November 2025 in connection with letters correcting a typographical error on this year’s Bristol council tax bills. Correction — Bristol council tax

A campaign leaflet and comparison document in Shepherd’s Bush Green ward that was distributed 28th April 2026 stated that Bristol Greens pushed through the maximum 4.99% council tax rise every year they were in office, six years in a row. This was incorrect. The Green Party became the largest party on Bristol City Council in May 2024 and has led the council since that date; council tax decisions in earlier years were taken under the previous Labour mayoral administration. We apologise for the error.
