Analysis of TfL’s bus route performance data for the second quarter of the 2023-2024 year revealed that only 61% of 424 buses run on time.
When compared with all other “Low-Frequency Bus Routes” in London (routes that operate less than five buses per hour), the 424 is the worst-performing daytime bus in the whole of the city. The only bus with a worse record is the N148.
What’s more - 20% of all 424 buses arrive between 5 and 15 minutes late.
Fulham Town Liberal Democrats are campaigning for TfL to launch an urgent review into the quality of service provided by low-frequency bus routes such as the 424.
