A former Liberal Democrat local councillor, Dinti lives in Hammersmith with her family. She has been active in many Lib Dem campaigns, including the campaign against Heathrow expansion, stood as No. 3 on the Liberal Democrat European Parliament list for London in the Euro election. Dinti grew up in Asia and came to the UK as a teenager. She read Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge University and has an MBA from INSEAD business school in France. Dinti's professional background is as a lawyer and businesswoman. In 1990, Dinti was "UK Young Linguist of the Year" - she is fluent in Italian, Spanish, and French as well as speaking basic Portuguese and Japanese. Her linguistic talents derive in no small part from her diverse family background - Italian, Spanish, American with a touch of Polish and Mexican!
